Gas Main Ruptures In East Williamsburg: FDNY
A gas main broke in Brooklyn Wednesday morning, authorities said.

EAST WILLIAMSBURG, NY — A gas main ruptured in East Williamsburg Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The main broke about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday on Debevoise Avenue between Masbeth Avenue and Jackson Street, according to the FDNY.
Some 60 first responders responded to the leak Wednesday, but no evacuations were necessary, authorities said. Everything was under control by 9:55 a.m., according to the FDNY.
