Q58 MTA Bus Crashes Into Brooklyn Bus Shelter: NYPD

The crash occurred at Palmetto Street and Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood, according to the FDNY.

BROOKLYN, NY — A Q58 bus crashed into a Ridgewood bus shelter Saturday morning, according to an MTA spokeswoman.

No customers were on board the bus at time of incident, which took place at 9:25 a.m., the spokeswoman told Patch via email.

The crash was at Myrtle Avenue and Palmetto Street and reported at approximately 10:30 a.m. No one was injured outside the bus or the bus shelter either, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch via email.

There was shattered glass around the bus shelter after the bus crashed into it, according to the NYPD.
