Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:

  1. A person is in custody following a deadly stabbing in a Brooklyn apartment building. Officers responded to a call at 45 Hawthorne St., where they found a 20-year-old man with stab wounds to his neck. The victim was initially stabbed in a second floor hallway but was able to make his way downstairs before being rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.(AMNY)
  2. A 22-year-old Brooklyn man has pleaded guilty to a 2020 aggravated assault against NYPD officers. The attack occurred in June 2020, when Dzenan Camovic approached three officers near his Flatbush residence, and stabbed one in the neck before taking the injured officer's gun. Camovic, who had said his "religion made me do it," will face 30 years in prison.
  3. NYC's only indoor biking facility recently opened in Brooklyn. Bikes, Boards, and Books launched in Quay Tower near the Brooklyn Bridge Park, and is mainly geared towards children, but is open to adults for private lessons. The staff will also hold small group reading and writing workshops for kids.
