Here are the top stories today in Brooklyn:
- A 32-year-old Jewish man was hospitalized after an apparent anti-Semitic attack on Friday afternoon. The victim was approached while walking in Crown Heights, before the unknown attacker punched him and kicked him in the head, all while making derogatory remarks. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital while the police investigate the incident. (NBC New York)
- A Brooklyn man has been arrested and charged with murder in the killing of his 18-year-old girlfriend on Friday morning. Dylan Diaz, 26 of Mapleton is accused of killing Damaris Maravilla after the two had been involved in a dispute. Diaz was taken into custody at the scene, where the victim was found in his apartment. (AMNY)
- The NYPD are searching for three men wanted for smashing the window of a jewelry store with a sledgehammer and robbing the establishment. The suspects targeted Rio De Pro Jewelry in Cypress Hills, and allegedly made off with over $150,000 worth of goods. (WABC-TV)
