Junior's Set To Open Cheesecake Spot In Vegas

Brooklyn's favorite slice of cheesecake is headed out west.

BROOKLYN, NY — Brooklyn's favorite slice of cheesecake is headed to Las Vegas.

Beloved restaurant and deli Junior's will open its first West Coast location in Sin City this November, the eatery announced to Instagram this week.

The new location will sit in Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip — with a massive, 300-seat location offering lunch, dinner, late night bites and, of course, cheesecake.

The new spot will sit across from the existing Randy's donuts.

"I feel like I just won the jackpot," said Alan Rosen, who owns Junior's.

And the people are clamoring on social media.

"Omg as a Brooklyn born and raised girl I miss Juniors so much. Can't wait to have my favorites again!" said one person

"After trying your cheesecake in Brooklyn, I swore I’ll never eat cheesecake on the west coast ever again. Now you’re here. Vegas is a short plane ride away," another said.

A Brooklyn staple, Junior's opened in 1950 on Flatbush and Dekalb — where it remains alongside four other New York City and Connecticut locations.

"For decades, Brooklynites (and other New Yorkers) have come to eat, laugh, and kibbtiz (argue) over cheesecake," owners said on Junior's website. "Our cheesecake was as important as the Brooklyn Dodgers...the Fox Theater...Coney Island...Brighton Beach."
