Man, 24, Fatally Stabbed In Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death in Brooklyn on Thursday, police said.

The incident happened at 1123 Halsey Street in Bushwick around 3:40 p.m.

The victim — identified as Shaliek Smith —was approached by a group of men and was stabbed in the chest with a sharp object, police said.

The 24-year-old was taken to Wyckoff Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
