Man, 30, Shot To Death Behind Brooklyn Home: NYPD
A 30-year-old was fatally shot in Canarsie during the evening hours of Wednesday, according to police.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 30-year-old man was shot to death in the backyard of a Brooklyn house, police said Thursday.
At 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, police found Chad Lewars on the ground in the backyard of a two-story home on E. 84th St. near Foster Ave. in Canarsie, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
Medics rushed Lewars to Brookdale University Hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
