Man Beats Woman At Bus Stop In Brutal NYC Attack: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who brutally attacked a woman at a Brooklyn bus stop during an attempted robbery more than two weeks ago.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Monday.

The incident happened on Dec. 9 around 1:30 p.m. near 1117 McDonald Ave. in Midwood, police said.

The 58-year-old woman was standing at a B10 bus stop when an unknown man pushed her to the ground and began repeatedly punching her in the face.

The man tried to take her handbag but was unsuccessful, police said.

The suspect fled the scene on foot on McDonald Avenue heading toward Avenue H, police said.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, gray pants, and black sneakers.

The victim was transported by EMS to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. Her injuries were not disclosed by police.
