Man Shot To Death Outside Brooklyn Apartment Building, Suspect Still At Large

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who fatally shot a 42-year-old man in Brooklyn Friday night.

The incident happened in front of 80 East 18 Street in Prospect Park South around 8:40 p.m., police said.

Officers found Andy Desravines with gunshot wounds to the left leg and abdomen. He was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.

What led up to the shooting is not known at this time. No arrests have been made yet.

An investigation remains ongoing.
