Man Fatally Stabbed In Brooklyn, Suspected Attacker Caught: NYPD

BUSHWICK, NY — A man was fatally stabbed in the torso over the weekend in Bushwick, according to the NYPD.

The 47-year-old was found stabbed in the chest Sunday about 4:15 p.m. on Melrose Street near Stanwix Street, according to the NYPD.

Police rushed the man to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

A person was taken into custody, but the relationship between the two people was not immediately clear.

Police continued to investigate Monday.
