Man Found Dead Inside NYC Apartment Building, Police Say

BROOKLYN, NY — A man was found dead inside a Brooklyn apartment building early Monday morning, police announced.

Officers found the man unresponsive with trauma to the head around 5:50 a.m. inside 90 Sands Street in DUMBO.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.

What led up to the incident is not known at this time. The man's identity has not been released pending family notification.

The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.

Police are probing the incident as a homicide, no arrests have been made yet.
