Man Found On Fire In Brooklyn Parking Lot
A 41-year-old man was found engulfed in flames outside 1177 Flushing Ave. on Monday, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A man found on fire on Monday at a Bushwick parking lot, police said.
A 41-year-old man was found engulfed in flames outside 1177 Flushing Ave. around 11 a.m., police said.
Two Good Samaritans apparently witnessed the incident and used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, according to a New York Daily News report.

The man suffered severe burns throughout this body and was initially taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center for treatment, police said.
The victim has been transferred to Staten Island University Hospital.

Sources told AMNY that surveillance video allegedly captures the man buying gasoline and a lighter from a nearby Mobil gas station before the incident. Though, surveillance footage does not show how the fire was started.
What led up to the incident is not known at this time.
FDNY fire marshals will determine the cause of the fire.
