Man Rescued From Train Tracks In Brooklyn: NYPD

Multiple lines were delayed late Monday night after a man tumbled from a platform at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, NY — A man was hospitalized after falling onto train tracks Monday night at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station, police said.

The 42-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition after he fell from a platform about 10:40 p.m., according to the FDNY.

Police said there was no criminality suspected.

New York City Transit originally reported a person had been struck by a train, but police told PIX 11 the man was rescued before being struck.

The incident paused 2, 3 and 4 trains in both directions for about an hour Monday.
