Man Robs Same Brooklyn Bodega 4 Times In December, Police Say

BROOKLYN, NY — Talk about misFOURtune!

One Brooklyn bodega was robbed four times last month by the same regimented burglar, police said.

In one image released by police from the third robbery on Dec. 19, the entrepreneurial crook is seen wheeling goods from the Kensington bodega by the cartfull.

Over the course of the month, the same man targeted the Coney Island Avenue bodega, located near the corner of Beverly Road, four times in total, according to NYPD officials.

And in addition to targeting the same spot, his method fell into a routine as well.

Each of the four robberies took place in the early morning hours — at either around 2 a.m. or 4 a.m. — and involved the man smashing a side panel of the store to steal goods from the bodega, according to an NYPD report.

The robberies took place on Dec. 2, Dec. 17. Dec. 19 and Dec. 26, police said.

Officials did not specify how many goods were taken, but according to the images released by police from the third robbery, the man used a handcart to remove what appears to be boxes and racks of drinks and other product from the store.

No injuries were reported in connection to any of the incidents, police said.
