Man Shoved Rider Onto Subway Tracks, Charged With Attempted Murder

The suspect has been charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged for allegedly shoving a man onto a Brooklyn subway track last month.

Andrew Pashinin has been charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon in connection to a Dec. 7 incident, police said.

Pashinin is accused of getting into an argument with a 33-year-old man at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station. The situation escalated, with Pashinin ultimately pushing the man on the tracks, police said.
