SUNSET PARK, NY — A 44-year-old man was stabbed in the neck by a stranger in Sunset Park late Sunday evening, police said.

The 44-year-old was talking to his suspected attacker inside a building on 5th Avenue between 40th and 41st Street about 11:15 p.m. Sunday, police said.

The stranger pulled out a knife and stabbed the man in the neck, sending the 44-year-old to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.

The attacker ran, and police were still searching Tuesday. No arrests had been made by Tuesday.
