- Several people, including two children, were injured when an out-of-control driver struck pedestrians with their car on Wednesday morning. The FNDY responded to the call at Nostrand Avenue and St. Johns Place just before 8 a.m. where the 45-year-old driver lost control of their Honda Pilot. The car struck a 48-year-old man, as well as a 9 year old, and an 11 year old. (WPIX 11 New York)
- An elderly woman was randomly attacked and stabbed in the back in Sunset Park last week. The suspect, possibly in his 20s, stabbed the 70-year-old woman as she was walking down a sidewalk. The victim was taken to a hospital where she is expected to survive. (NBC New York)
- A group of four gun-wielding thieves tied up and robbed two men of $200,000 in a home invasion on Sunday afternoon. The two men were in their apartment in Flatbush just before 5:30 p.m. when the armed men walked in their home, began taking money, and ordered them to open two safes in the apartment. (Patch)
- The popular bakery, Winner is expanding into a new Prospect Park location. The opening will mark the Michelin-awarded eatery's third location within Brooklyn, the first of which opened in Park Slope. The opening date is soon to be announced, and hours will expand leading up to Memorial Day. (Patch)
