Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:
- A Pennsylvania man was arrested on Monday for his involvement in a fatal stabbing. Police found 39-year-old Sean Gregg, a resident at 325 76th St., unresponsive in the hallway with a stab wound in his back. Jaymir Brasby, 22, of Nanty-Glo, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody at the scene, having suffered lacerations to his hands. (AMNY)
- Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band announced an April 3 show at the Barclays Center as part of its 2023 North American tour. The long-awaited tour is the band's first since 2017, featuring 31 stops between February and April. Tickets for the Brooklyn show will go on sale on July 29. (Patch)
- Eyval, a Persian restaurant, recently opened in Bushwick to glowing reviews. Chef Ali Saboor formerly made waves as one of the original chefs at Sofreh, expanding and improving upon some original dishes. The restaurant offers a gourmet take on some of Iran's most popular street food varieties. (The New York Times)
- Surveillance footage captured two suspects firing shots at a man sitting on an electric scooter. The victim, who fell off of the scooter, was not hit by any bullets, while the suspects fled the scene. Police said that stray bullets narrowly missed hitting other people, including a woman and her baby. (CBS New York)
- Police are looking for a man wanted for forcibly touching three people in Gravesend last month. The incident occurred within minutes of each other on June 10. So far, no arrests have been made in the incident. (NBC New York)
