Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Brooklyn, Police Say

SUNSET PARK, NY — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Sunset Park Tuesday morning but the extent of his injuries was not immediately known, according to preliminary information from the NYPD.

A male pedestrian of unknown age was struck by the vehicle about 6:45 a.m. near 51st Street and 12th Avenue, police said. He was rushed to an area hospital but his condition was unknown, police said.

The driver remained on the scene, authorities said.
