Repaving Scheduled for Williamsburg Bridge

Partial and full closures of the inner roadway are scheduled between June 17 and June 24.

BROOKLYN, NY — Milling and repaving will close the inner roadway of the Williamsburg Bridge on the nights of June 17 and 24, the Department of Transportation announced.

On each date, the closure will last from 11 p.m. to 10 a.m. the following day.

If the work is delayed by rain, the closure will take place the following night (June 18 and/or June 25).

Additionally, one lane of the inner roadway will be closed at night from June 20 through June 23.

Those lane closures will last from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.

The planned roadwork will not have any impact on pedestrians and cyclists, according to the DOT.
