  1. The Sheepshead Bay United Methodist Church erupted in flames early on Wednesday morning. At approximately 7 a.m., the fire broke out on the first floor and quickly spread throughout the building. There were no injuries reported in the incident, but the cause of the blaze is under investigation. (Brooklyn Paper)
  2. An elderly man was killed after being struck by a Jeep on June 1. The victim, 70-year-old Deshui Wang, was struck and killed by the 53-year-old driver, who was not arrested at the scene. The victim lived only two blocks away from where he was struck. (AMNY)
  3. A male suspect is wanted for groping a teenager in a Brooklyn subway station on May 19. At approximately 7 a.m., the suspect approached the 17-year-old boy at the 59th Street subway station and proceeded to grab his genitalia. The suspect has not been identified as the investigation remains ongoing. (Patch)
  4. Shocking new details have emerged in the Tuesday morning incident that left an MTA bus driver with knife wounds. It has been discovered that the same driver was attacked not only by one, but by three men. The three suspects all fled from the bus following the attack, and the NYPD has released surveillance footage of the attackers. (Patch)
  5. Former Mayor Bill de Blasio attended his Park Slope neighborhood Block Party on Saturday and joined a local band playing a washboard. He was seemingly a last-minute addition to the ensemble, during a day that the congressional candidate has described as "one of the very best days of each year." (Patch)
