Suspect ID'd In Stabbing Attack That Killed Brooklyn Bodega Worker: Police
Police are searching for a man accused of fatally stabbing bodega worker Diego Sandoval-Nava at an East New York deli earlier this month.

BROOKLYN, NY — Nearly a month after a 33-year-old bodega worker was fatally stabbed inside a Brooklyn deli, police have now identified a suspect.
Oneil Millise is accused of fatally stabbing 33-year-old Diego Sandoval-Nava on Aug. 1 around 3 p.m. at a deli located at 684 Hegeman Ave. in East New York, police said.
Police said they received a 911 call that afternoon, and when officers arrived, they found Sandoval-Nava with multiple stab wounds to his torso. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police now believe that Millise approached Sandoval-Nava while he was working and got into a verbal dispute before leaving the deli and returning with a knife. He then stabbed Sandoval-Nava multiple times across his body, authorities said.
Following the attack, Millise fled the scene in a black sedan, which was last seen heading westbound on Hegeman Avenue toward an unknown destination, police said.
