Here are the top stories in Brooklyn today:
- A pair of suspects are wanted for an attack that left a 61-year-old Brooklyn man dead. Victor Vega was walking near his home on Lexington Avenue when he was attacked by the two men. Vega was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead, while the suspects remain on the loose. (PIX 11)
- The June primary elections are approaching following a chaotic year of shifting district lines. The elections will be held on June 28. (Brooklyn Paper)
- An NYPD school safety officer has been arrested and charged with breaking into the home of his ex-wife. Christopher Nicholson, 30, broke into the home and broke his ex's cell phone. The charges against Nicholson include burglary, grand larceny, trespassing and others. (PIX11 New York News)
- Surveillance footage from at least four cameras captured a violent robbery of a 14-year-old boy. The teenager was held at gunpoint and hit repeatedly by a group of men at the Brooklyn Bridge Park. Police believe that at least some of the group knew the boy who was robbed. (NBC New York)
