Here are the top three stories in Brooklyn today:

1. On Aug. 17, Uber driver Fritz Sam stopped his cab, ran into a burning Brooklyn brownstone, and rescued two people from the flames. The father of two said, "When I thought there might me someone inside that building, there was something in me that couldn't hold back and I just had to go inside." No one was injured and firefighters arrived to control the fire. (Local 12 News)
2. Yesterday, Aug. 19, the NYPD released an image of a suspect in the Aug. 13 attack of a 22-year-old, who was repeatedly stabbed while surrounded by five people, at 1505 Riegalman Boardwalk West. The victim was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital and NYPD said he is in stable condition. 3. Broadway Forever, a series where four Broadway stars perform free pop-up concerts in NYC, is almost here! The pop-up concert will be in Brooklyn on Friday, Aug. 26, at 3:30 p.m. at Albee Square in Downtown Brooklyn. (Time Out)
