WATCH: Young Girl With Disability Has Priceless Reaction To Ball Spinning On Her Finger

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Downtown Brooklyn in April, where Brooklynites can watch touching performances like this in person.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — The Harlem Globetrotters have set out to do more than perform impressive basketball tricks in front of audiences — they're traveling around New York State putting on bullying prevention programs and assemblies in which they teach tricks to students to help them gain confidence. As a recent example, two members of the group putting on a show last week in Long Island helped one little girl, Layla, balance a spinning basketball on her finger, something she never thought she'd witness. Her shocked face captured on video is priceless.

The team invited Layla to their "VIP experience" at their games in Madison Square Garden on Feb. 19-20. They will be making several stops in New York state, including one in April to Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn. Here is their full lineup.

The Harlem Globetrotters has a rich history that begins in 1926, when it was established. The group has developed a brand based on helping local community groups and charity organizations while also entertaining crowds with its slam dunks, fast breaks, the figure-eight weave and, of course, spinning the ball on young girls' fingers.
