Woman Brutally Beaten In Brooklyn Road Rage Incident, Police Say
Police said the 68-year-old woman was punched multiple times in the face during the attack.

BROOKLYN, NY — A 68-year-old woman was assaulted in a road rage incident, during which the suspect repeatedly punched her and knocked her to the ground, police said.
Police said the woman was behind the wheel near the Food Bazaar Supermarket on Manhattan Avenue, close to Moore Street in East Williamsburg, when a man and a woman in a gray sedan pulled up behind her around 7:40 p.m. on Aug. 13.
According to police, the man walked up to the driver’s side window and began arguing with the woman. When she got out of her car to confront him, an unidentified woman punched her in the face several times.

After knocking the woman to the ground in the parking lot, the pair got back into their vehicle and drove off, police said. They were last seen heading east on Varet Street.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene and took the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, where she was listed in stable condition with pain and swelling to her face and body.

Police described the first suspect as a woman last seen wearing a gray shirt, gray pants, a black jacket, and white sneakers. The second suspect, a man, was last seen wearing a white tank top, black pants, and a black head wrap.

Police also recovered surveillance footage of the suspects and released images in hopes the public can help identify them.
