Woman Fatally Beaten By Fellow Patient At NYC Nursing Home Identified: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A woman who was brutally beaten to death by another patient inside a New York City nursing home has been identified, police said Tuesday.

The victim, 89-year-old Nina Kravtsov, was attacked late Sunday night at the Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Coney Island, where a 95-year-old woman allegedly struck her with a piece of metal from a wheelchair, Patch previously reported.

Kravtsov was found with severe head trauma and rushed to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, where she was later pronounced dead, police said.

Details surrounding the fatal attack have not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
