BROOKLYN, NY — A woman who was brutally beaten to death by another patient inside a New York City nursing home has been identified, police said Tuesday.

The victim, 89-year-old Nina Kravtsov, was attacked late Sunday night at the Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Coney Island, where a 95-year-old woman allegedly struck her with a piece of metal from a wheelchair, Patch previously reported.

Kravtsov was found with severe head trauma and rushed to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, where she was later pronounced dead, police said.
