Woman Found Dead, Stabbed In Brooklyn: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A woman was fatally stabbed Wednesday in a Starrett City apartment building, police said.

The 34-year-old woman was found stabbed about 6:15 a.m. at an apartment building on Pennsylvania Avenue near Freeport Loop, according to the NYPD. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene, and a knife was recovered, police said. The relationship between the two was not immediately known.

Police continued to investigate the stabbing Wednesday.
