Woman Shot Twice By Neighbor At NYC Apartment

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are searching for a suspect who shot a woman twice in a Brooklyn apartment building Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at 399 St. John’s Place in Prospect Heights around 8:45 a.m., police said.

Officers found the woman with a gunshot wound to the arm and leg. She was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

According to police, the woman and suspect reportedly got into a dispute before the shooting.

The woman and suspect were supposedly neighbors in the building, according to PIX11 News and AMNY.

The suspect apparently barricaded himself in an apartment, but when cops forced their way in, he wasn't there.
