Young Woman Fatally Stabbed In Brooklyn Friday: NYPD
A 25-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in the chest early Friday morning in Sunset Park, police said.
SUNSET PARK, NY — A young woman was stabbed in the chest Friday morning at a Sunset Park residence, police said.
The 25-year-old was found stabbed in the chest about 4:30 a.m. on 42nd Street between 4th and 5th Avenues, according to the NYPD.
The woman was rushed to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

A 36-year-old was taken into custody Friday morning, but police had not released any identifying details. Police continued to investigate Friday.
