- Actors Zendaya and Tom Holland were reportedly seen house hunting in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill. The couple, and Spiderman co-stars, were allegedly interested in a five-bedroom townhouse that dates to the 1860s. The two young talents have already been living in New York City for some time. - A man was shot twice following a dispute at the Breukelen Houses in Canarsie. NYPD officers found the 27 year old with gunshot wounds to his chest and arm on Monday morning. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition while the investigation remains ongoing. (AMNY)
- A total of 55 Brooklyn restaurants will participate in New York City's Restaurant Week this summer. The event last several weeks, running from July 18 t0 Aug. 21, longer than the winter edition. Newcomers from Brooklyn include Gage & Tollner, The Norm, and the Meatball Shop. (Brooklyn Magazine)
- Two Brooklyn judges have been appointed to the New York State Court of Claims by Gov. Kathy Hochul. Hon. Joanne Quinones and Hon. Javier Vargas had been sitting in Brooklyn since 2010, and 2017 respectively. (Brooklyn Daily Eagle)
- Permits have been filed for 1206 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights. The proposed eight-story mixed-use development would yield over 18,000 square feet. The 73-foot-tall structure will feature 18 residences. (New York YIMBY)
