Man Hit by Vehicle at Atlantic Avenue and Court Street

A man was hit by a vehicle at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Court Street Wednesday afternoon, according to police. 

The man was struck at approximately 4 p.m. and was taken to Long Island College Hospital with knee injuries, police said. No criminality is suspected. 

Drivers and pedestrians alike should be sure to be aware of their surroundings at busy intersections. Especially with the cold weather coming, outdoor conditions will become increasingly difficult to navigate.
