Police Blotter: Part Deux

Reports from the 76th Precinct this week that are as yet unresolved.


Earlier this week, we shared with you the recent eight arrests of robbers, burglars and other criminals in the 76th Precinct. For the second half of this week's blotter, here are is a roundup of incidents as yet unresolved.

The following arrest information was supplied by the 76th Precinct.

C-Town Employee Robbed During Delivery

While delivering fliers in a building for C-Town, a man, 37, was robbed at 423 Baltic St. on Jan 23 at 1:50 pm, police said. According to cops, an unknown individual simulated a firearm from behind the victim and removed $35 currency from his back pockets as well as an MP3 player ($45).

Teen Robbed of iPhone

At the corner of 9th St. and Smith St., a young resident was subject to a robbery when an unknown approached him and said “run your pockets” then forcibly removed a white iPhone 5 worth $600, cops said. The victim is male, 13. According to police, the suspect is described as was a black male, wearing beige slacks, a green jacket, and black sneakers. The incident took place on Jan. 28 at 5 pm.

Shopper Has Phone Stolen From Her Purse 

While shopping inside Trader Joe's, located at 130 Court St., on Feb. 3 at 3:40 pm, a woman was the victim of a pickpocket, police said. The unknown individual took the victim's iPhone from her purse. It was last tracked in the 72 Precinct, according to cops. The victim is a female, 34. The iPhone is worth $200.

Chrysler Break-In Between Smith and Court

On Feb 2, between the hours of 3 pm and 9:40 pm, a woman's car on the 100 block of Butler Street was vandalized and had items removed from inside, police said. Having parked her vehicle between Smith and Court Streets, the victim returned to her 2000 Chrysler Suburban to find the lock and the ignition had both been damaged. According to cops, various items were removed, including a $199 CB radio and an iPod Nano, worth $100.
