Commack Day: What To Know About The Community-Wide Celebration
Commack Day features vendors offering games, live music, food and drinks and more.

COMMACK, NY – Approximately 2,500 people are expected to attend the fifth annual Commack Day, according to a news release.
The celebration is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Suffolk Y JCC, at 74 Hauppauge Road, Commack. The event will be held rain or shine.
Commack Day recognizes the "vibrant, unified, and strong spirit of the Commack community" as thousands of dollars are raised for local fire and ambulance departments, as well as scholarships for students.

The day will feature more than 110 vendors offering games, live music, food and drinks and more.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online on the Commack Day website for $10 each. Tickets are $15 at the door. Tickets are $5 for veterans and first responders. Children under 10 get in free.

Admission provides free access to:
- Bounce houses
- Gaga ball pits
- Rock wall climbing
- Photo booths
- Mini golf course
- Petting zoo
- Face painting
- Axe throwing by NY Axe
- Mini circus
- And more
Beverages and food will also be available for purchase, including from Twisted Cow Distillery, which is serving as the exclusive beer and spirits provider for Commack Day.
Other food vendors will include Kool Kat Ice Cream, Philly Pretzel Factory, Iron Chef Catering, First Class Food Trucks (Zeppoles & Funnel Cakes) La Scala, and Kosher food options.
The day will raise funds to support the Commack Fire Department, assist the Commack Ambulance Corps, and fund scholarships through the Eric Spinato Foundation, honoring the legacy of the late Eric Spinato by supporting aspiring communications students.
"By joining us at Commack Day, you’re not just enjoying a day out with family and friends — you’re also contributing to the well-being and future of our community," said Dean Spinato, organizer of the event and brother of the late Eric Spinato, in a news release. "It’s a chance to celebrate, support, and give back in the best way possible."
