Commack Memorial Day Parade Today
The parade will take place down Jericho Turnpike at 10 a.m.
The Elwood-Commack Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9263 will host its annual Memorial Day Parade down Jericho Turnpike Monday at 10 a.m.
The parade will start at the Home Depot parking lot at Larkfield Road and Jericho Turnpike and proceed east on Jericho Turnpike to Veterans Site at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike and Veterans Highway.
Get there early to pick a good viewing spot and bring a lawn chair to enjoy the parade.
Suffolk County police are advising residents to leave extra travel time and have an alternate route planned if the parade will affect your travel route.
