Commack Senior to Compete in MSG Varsity's Talent Show

One year after Commack student , another Commack native is hoping to follow in her footsteps.

Commack High School senior Matthew Mayer will compete in season two of the regional talent show, vying against 15 opponents from the tri-state area for the Individual Vocalist title.

Fans will have the opportunity to vote on each of Mayer's performances throughout the competition. The winner will receive a two-day professional recording session to make a demo CD and a photo shoot.

The first episode of the new season will air on Sunday, April 15 at 8 p.m. on MSG Varsity.
