Two Commack family businesses have come together to become one at Acer's Home and Garden Center, located at 2077 Jericho Tpke.
A Sister's Touch florist and boutique shop, owned by the Longo family, which was located within the Bonwit Village shopping center, moved into Acer's this past November.
The two family-owned businesses now operate under the Acer's name.
Nicole Longo said that the move has been a good one for the businesses, which allow the florists to work in a bigger location, and also gave Acer's, which has been in town since 2009, the ability to expand its floral section.
