Cops: Woman Injured in East Farmingdale Shooting
Incident occurred in a parking lot late Tuesday, police say.

A woman, 18, was struck by a stray bullet in a shooting in East Farmingdale Tuesday night, authorities said.
Suffolk police are now investigating the shooting. They say nearly 150 people were attending a party hosted by local DJs at Theater 294 at 294 Route 109 in East Farmingdale when an altercation erupted in the establishment’s rear parking lot at about 11:55 p.m. Several gunshots were fired during the fight, and a female bystander was struck in the right thigh by a bullet.
The woman was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where she is listed in good condition, police say.

Police have not yet made any arrests, and this incident is still under investigation, police say.
