Deer Park School District Named 'Best Community for Music Education'

DEER PARK, NY – The Deer Park School District has hit another crescendo.

The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation (NAMM) once again bestowed a "Best Community for Music Education" designation on the Deer Park School District music program.

The district has received this recognition for the past 11 years.

Now in its 25th year, the Best Communities designation recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders in making music education part of a well-rounded education.

Only 975 districts nationwide were given this designation for 2024.
