Deer Park Street Named In Honor Of Auxiliary Police Captain
Carto Circle in Deer Park is now known as Auxiliary Police Captain Anthony DeNoyior Circle.

DEER PARK, NY —A street in Deer Park has a new name: Babylon Town recently rechristened Carto Circle Auxiliary Police Captain Anthony DeNoyior Circle in honor of the late resident for his service to the community.
DeNoyior died in 2020 at age 55. He served as Auxiliary Police Captain and worked for Suffolk County for almost 19 years.
"He was known for being a leader in his unit, always stepping up to help and guide new members. He clocked more than 4,000 hours of career volunteer work and earned three outstanding service awards along with 10 length of service awards," a statement from the Town of Babylon said.

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman Terence McSweeneye, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly attended the ceremony with DeNoyior's wife Stacy, sons Nick and Joseph and officers from the Suffolk County Police Department.
