Man Seriously Hurt In Deer Park Shooting

BREAKING: The man was shot twice while sitting in his car, police say.

A man is in serious condition after he was shot twice in Deer Park on Thursday morning, police say.

According to authorities, a 35-year-old Deer Park man was sitting in a vehicle at the corner of Emerson Street and Deer Park Boulevard when he was shot twice at 2:12 a.m.

The shooter, who police said was a man, fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital via Deer Park Fire Department ambulance where he was treated for serious injuries.

The shooting is under investigation.
