North Babylon High School's Sign of Success
Yes, an investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.

If you're driving past North Babylon High School, it's hard to miss the school's sign touting an event or an inspirational quote.
Today's highlight: Ben Franklin's famous : "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest."
As it turns out, Investopedia considers it the top investment quote of all time, although they remove the word "always" from the phrase.
The Investopedia page is a lot of fun, unless you're a supporter of placing all your money in savings accounts. Case in point, the fifth quote on their list: "How many millionaires who have become wealthy by investing in savings accounts? I rest my case." That quote belongs to Robert G. Allen.
North Babylon High School could do a lot worse than cite Ben Franklin, a quote machine.
Another great one from Philadelphia's favorite son: "We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid."
