PM Pediatrics Set to Open North Babylon Location Monday

PM Pediatrics will officially open to the public at its brand-new North Babylon facility on Monday, April 8.

The 7,200 square foot jungle-themed practice is located at 1130 Deer Park Avenue and will feature urgent care during hours that doctor's offices are normally closed – 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. weekdays and 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. on weekends – 365 days a year.

The new office was the former home of Blockbuster Video.

PM Pediatrics is headed up by current Selden office director Dr. Faiz Ahmad and will be staffed by peditric emergency specialists who can provide specialized care and treatment for a broad array of illnesses and injuries. Each office is equipted with an on-site digital x-ray machine that can produce high definition images that can be easily sent to the child's primary care physician via CD-ROM.

The North Babylon office will be PM Pediatrics' eighth and largest location to date, with two other Long Island offices in Syosset and Selden.

Open houses for parents and children to view the facility will be available from April 1 through 5 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. in anticipation of the grand opening.
