SPCA Seeking Person Who Threw Kitten Out of Car

The kitten was struck and killed by another vehicle. A $2,000 reward is being offered for info leading to an arrest and conviction.

DEER PARK, NY – The Suffolk County SPCA is asking for the public's help to find the person who threw a cat out of car in Deer Park this week.

On Monday, between 3:30-3:35 p.m., a witness saw a cat being thrown from a vehicle that was driving southbound in front of 1536 Route 231 in Deer Park. The live kitten was struck and killed by another car.

A reward of $2,000 is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who threw the cat.

According to the witness, the vehicle looks like a black Chevy Impala 4-door sedan. The photo above is not the actual vehicle.
