West Babylon Junior High School Welcomes New Assistant Principal
West Babylon School District has a new assistant principal, district officials say.

WEST BABYLON, NY — There's a new assistant principal in the West Babylon School District.
Alison Somma has been named assistant principal of West Babylon Junior High School.
She comes to West Babylon from Great Neck Public Schools, where she worked as a Spanish and ENL teacher at Great Neck North High School since 2014, officials said. She also served as the Student Organization advisor and No Place for Hate facilitator for the district.

Somma holds a bachelor of arts degree in adolescent education and Spanish from SUNY Cortland and a master’s degree in teaching English to speakers of other languages from Molloy University. She also has her certification in building leadership.
