Long Island Woman Attacked Another With Bat, Smashed SUV Windows: Cops

She went inside the woman's home without permission, Suffolk police say.

WYANDANCH, NY — A woman swung a bat at another woman inside her Wyandanch home and then used it to smash the windows of a Ford Explorer, Suffolk police said.

Christina Whidbee went inside the 30th Street home without permission and tried to strike the woman at about 7:30 a.m., according to police.

She then used the bat to smash the windows of a 2012 Ford Explorer, which was parked outside of the home, police said.

No one was injured in the incident.

Whidbee, 41, of Mastic Beach, was charged with two counts of first-degree burglary with a dangerous instrument and one count of third-degree criminal mischief, both felonies.

She pleaded not guilty, a temporary order of protection was issued, and she was released on her own recognizance, online court records show.
