Paul McCartney Delights Crowd In Surprise Performance At Hamptons Club

"It was incredible." The small crowd at The Talkhouse in Amagansett had the night of a lifetime Tuesday when Paul McCartney took the stage.

AMAGANSETT, NY β€” Audiences at the Stephen Talkhouse were treated to the performance of a lifetime when Paul McCartney decided to take the stage Tuesday night.

According to Spin, McCartney, 82, who has a home in the Hamptons, was at the iconic nightspot for a show by Andrew Watt and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, as well as guitarist G.E. Smith.

Sandy Goldfarb, who took a video of the impromptu moment, told Patch McCartney sang "Rockin' In the Free World," and "I Saw Her Standing There" as the crowd cheered and clapped.

Also taking the stage with McCartney was singer-songwriter and model Charlotte Lawrence, Goldfarb said.

Louder reported that Watt worked with McCartney on his addition to the Rolling Stones album "Hackney Diamonds."

Reflecting on the night and the once-in-a-lifetime moment, Goldfarb wrote on social media: "Sir Paul McCartney, the legendary Chad Smith, Andrew Watt and G.E. Smith and the Smith and Watt band!! Only on a Tuesday night at the Talkhouse. Insane!!"

And, he told Patch, of seeing McCartney: "It was incredible."
