Take It Easy on National Relaxation Day

If you didn't know, Thursday is National Relaxation Day.

Who knew there was such a thing? Apparently, on Aug. 15 it's okay to ignore emails and turn off the iPhone.

According to published reports, the idea of National Relaxation Day is to center yourself and take a moment to wind down. I know I could use that, could you?

It begs the question: What do you do to relax normally? Many turn to yoga, but we all have our own ways of handling the stresses of everyday life. I enjoy going to a spin class at B. East Real Ryder Fitness Studio in Amagansett to knock out my pent up energy.
