3 Charged In Suffolk Fatal Strangling: Police
A man was found strangled to death on the side of the road in June, police say. Three men face murder charges.
EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — Three men were arrested in connection with the fatal strangling of a man in East Farmingdale, Suffolk police said.
Juan Carlos Diaz Jeronimo, 48, of North Amityville, was found dead in East Farmingdale on June 22, police said.
Gustavo Hernandez, 38; Walter Ramirez-Jeronimo, 19; and Wilson Ramirez-Jeronimo, 18, all from Farmingdale, were arrested on Route 109 in Farmingdale at 6:40 p.m. Sunday and charged with second-degree murder, police said. They are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.

At 1:35 a.m. June 22, a passerby called 911 to report a man on the side of the road at Garity Place, police said. Diaz Jeronimo was pronounced dead at the scene by the East Farmingdale Fire Department, police said.
