A Busy Month for Hardscrabble Girl Scouts

The troops ended the year with many activities.

Farmingdale's Hardscrabble Association of Girl Scouts ended the year volunteering, celebrating and learning.

The group hosted Outdoor Day at Bethpage State Park, in which the girls participated in different themed craft activities, yoga and a scavanger hunt about America's founding fathers and other history trivia. The theme of the day was "Red, White and Blue."

"It was a overcast type of the day, but the smiles and fun all the girls enjoyed brightened up the day.  The days events ended with a wishing circle to show that girls scouts is larger then just one troop," said parent Emily McIlwaine.
